⭐ Tiny Sparks: My STEM Story

Hi, I'm Mr. Harris—and this is my STEM story!

Hi Tiny Scientists! My name is Mr. Harris, and I'm a 5th Grade Science Teacher. My job is to help students learn about the world around them by asking questions, exploring new ideas, and making exciting discoveries through science.

When I was younger, my own 5th grade science teacher sparked my interest in STEM. That experience showed me how fun and interesting science could be, and it inspired me to help other students discover that same excitement for learning.

One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is seeing the "lightbulb moment" when a student finally understands something new. Watching curiosity turn into confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Every day, I work to inspire learning and curiosity in my students. By helping young people think critically, solve problems, and ask questions, I am helping build future minds and future generations.

💡 My Message to Tiny Scientists:

Try it out—you never know, you might just fall in love with STEM!

My STEM story shows that science can inspire others through learning.

💛 —Mr. Harris, 5th Grade Science Teacher
