Hi, I’m Amanda—and this is my STEM story!

Hi Tiny Scientists! My name is Amanda, and I’m a Quality Assurance Specialist. That means I help make sure medicine is safe and ready for people who need it to feel better.

Have you ever taken medicine when you were sick? Before that medicine gets to you, people like me work behind the scenes to make sure it is made the right way. I help check that everything is safe, clean, and working just how it should—so your body can heal!

When I was younger, I discovered my love for science in school. One day, we did a fun experiment with gummy bears to learn about something called osmosis. Watching those gummy bears grow and change made me curious about how science works in real life—and that curiosity stayed with me!

One of my favorite things about my job is working with my team. Together, we make sure that the medicine we create can truly help people. I also love knowing that my work helps someone feel better and get back to living their normal life.

Because of science, we can create medicines that help people heal, feel stronger, and even spread joy to others. When people feel good, they can do amazing things!

💡 My message for Tiny Scientists: Don’t be intimidated by big projects—start small and work your way up to big ideas. STEM is the future, so jump in and explore!
